The vision for this Encinitas kitchen was to create a warm, inviting, and exceptionally functional “chef’s kitchen” designed around a suite of professional-grade appliances. A critical component of this vision was creating abundant and intelligently integrated storage. The homeowner needed a solution that was both a storage workhorse and a beautiful design element. Our team was commissioned to design and build a full set of custom Shaker-style kitchen cabinets, anchored by a magnificent, floor-to-ceiling pantry.

Seamless Appliance Integration: The entire kitchen cabinetry system, including the pantry, was meticulously designed to provide a perfect, custom built-in fit for high-end appliances like the Sub-Zero refrigerator and professional range.
Design Challenges & Solutions – Integrating a Professional Kitchen
Challenge: The primary design challenge was to create a cohesive and elegant kitchen that could gracefully accommodate several large, dominant, professional-grade appliances without feeling overwhelmed by them. The custom pantry, in particular, needed to serve as both a massive storage unit and a beautiful architectural framing element next to the substantial refrigerator.
Solution: We designed the entire kitchen with seamless appliance integration as our top priority. The custom pantry was built to the exact specifications of the microwave, providing a flawless built-in look. By using the same beautiful Natural Maple Shaker cabinetry throughout the entire kitchen—for the pantry, the base cabinets, the uppers, and the custom range hood—we created a warm, unified, and sophisticated aesthetic. The result is a high-end chef’s kitchen where the rich custom woodwork and the sleek stainless steel appliances complement each other in perfect harmony.
