The project required fully custom-built cabinetry to maximize storage, cleverly conceal appliances, and introduce a sophisticated aesthetic. Design Challenges & Solutions – Custom Cabinets in San Marcos
Challenge: The core challenge was to create two distinct, high-impact spaces that were exceptionally functional yet felt cohesive in their modern design language. The laundry enclosure, in particular, required precise engineering to handle the ventilation and access needs of the appliances while maintaining a flawless, monolithic appearance when closed.
Solution: We approached each area as a unique custom furniture project. The freestanding vanity for the bathroom was designed to feel airy and elegant, maximizing space in the room. For the laundry area, we engineered the tall enclosure with heavy-duty hardware and integrated ventilation, ensuring it was as robust as it was beautiful. By using a consistent flat-panel door style across both spaces, we created a common design thread that tied the two sophisticated color palettes together.
