Project Overview – An Architectural Entertainment Center
For this modern Rancho Santa Fe home, the owner wanted to transform a large, plain recessed wall nook from a simple blank space into a dramatic and sophisticated entertainment hub. A standard TV table or console wouldn’t suffice; the vision was for a fully integrated, architectural feature that combined sleek storage, luxurious materials, and ambient lighting to create a true “wow” factor. Our team was commissioned to design, build, and install this entire bespoke media wall from the ground up.

Design Challenges & Solutions – A Modern Media Wall
Challenge: The primary engineering challenge was to create a complex, multi-layered system with absolute precision. The long floating console needed to be perfectly level and securely mounted to the wall to support significant weight. The large, heavy back panel required flawless installation, and the integrated LED lighting system demanded careful planning and wiring for a clean, seamless result without any visible hardware.
Solution: Our process began with a detailed 3D design that mapped out each layer of the media wall. The foundation was created by installing the dark taupe back wall and the custom fluted panels. We then mounted the stunning marble-look panel, carefully integrating the wiring for the LED system. Finally, the custom-built floating console was securely mounted using heavy-duty concealed hardware, ensuring all components aligned perfectly to the millimeter. The result is a sophisticated, layered design that is both a highly functional entertainment center and a piece of modern art.
