Design Challenges & Solutions – A Seamless Built-in
Challenge: The main goal was to create a large-scale storage unit that did not feel bulky or intrusive in the living space. It needed to be perfectly integrated into the wall to look like an original, intentional feature, providing the maximum possible storage while maintaining the home’s open, clean, and uncluttered aesthetic.
Solution: We designed the pantry to be tall and spacious, maximizing the room’s vertical space. By building it to fit the alcove exactly and finishing it with architectural crown molding, we created a seamless built-in look that feels completely original to the home. The timeless choice of the white Shaker style ensures the large piece feels bright and visually light, not heavy or overbearing.
